Pet Surgery

At Vet Around the Corner, we’re proud to have a fully sterile theatre room — the perfect space for performing procedures that need a clean, controlled environment. It means we can give your pet the gold‑standard care they deserve, whether they’re in for soft tissue surgery, eye surgery, or a routine desexing.

Every surgical patient gets their own dedicated surgical nurse who stays by their side throughout anaesthesia, keeping a close eye on them with the help of our monitoring equipment. Think of it as having a personal guardian making sure everything goes smoothly.

We run surgeries on weekdays, and your little one will usually spend the day with us. You’ll meet our admissions nurse bright and early in the morning, and once your pet has had their procedure and a comfy recovery rest, they’re typically ready to head home by mid to late afternoon.
