I am Dr. Marian and it will be my absolute honour to be looking after your pet and you! I have been lucky enough to fulfil my childhood ambition of being a veterinarian and I LOVE it. Over the past 15 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity of working in small animal veterinary practices and emergency services. ​ I've learnt from my professional career about the importance of protecting our pets with providing them with the best preventative care available to help them live long and healthy, happy lives. Having a house call visit enables me to formulate the best lifelong plan for your furry friend within a relaxed environment without any time constraints and even perhaps over a cup of tea. I believe that through early intervention and equipping you with the right information, we can come up with a holistic plan that will suit both you and all the 4 legged members of your family regardless of their stage of life. Let us come to you to provide the gold-standard care that your pet needs, and all within the comfort of your home.

I am Dr. Tania and I am looking forward meeting you and your wonderful fur babies. Before my veterinary career I was an intensive care paramedic. I graduated in 2015 and have loved being a veterinarian! I have been a mobile veterinarian since 2021. When I am not working I love mountain biking, training for triathlons and hanging out with my crazy kelpie, Charlee and ginger cat, Ginge.

Tara graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019 and began her veterinary career working across wildlife, zoo and exotic animal practice. This provided her with the opportunity to work with a wonderfully diverse range of animals and develop a broad range of veterinary skills. After taking some time away from veterinary medicine for maternity leave, Tara returned to small animal practice in late 2025 and has loved getting back to caring for cats and dogs. She particularly enjoys dentistry, house calls and palliative care, and has a special interest in osteoarthritis and pain management. Tara is passionate about focusing on quality of life and ensuring pets are as comfortable and happy as possible. She believes in working closely with owners to provide individualised care and make thoughtful decisions that are right for each pet and their family. At home, Tara shares her life with her two eight-year-old greyhounds, Chloe and Mia. Her experience with her own dogs has given her an even greater appreciation for the importance of comfort, mobility and quality of life as pets get older. Outside of veterinary medicine, Tara enjoys gardening, crochet and spending time with her family. She loves being able to combine her passion for animals with providing compassionate and practical care to pets and the people who love them.

Having studied Marine Biology, Parasitology, Zoology and with 20+ year’s experience, Dr Jo brings a wealth of knowledge. So, whether it’s a routine check – up or something more complex, your pet is in safe hands. Dr Jo loves all areas of vet work but has a strong passion for surgery including orthopedics, soft tissue and brachycephalic cases. She also had experience in reproduction and breeding. You’ll be able to catch Dr Jo at our Loganholme clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday’s.

Karinna is our practice manager and the mysterious voice behind the phones. Her high level of skill, expertise and knowledge in pet care is balanced by her warm, empathic and kind client and pet-centered approach. With 20+ years of veterinary nursing and practice management under her belt, you know your pets are in the best hands! In her spare time, Karinna enjoys quality time with her precious boys (the two legged kind) and enjoys being with her fur and feathered babies. She enjoys gardening with her chooks, time out on the boat, camping, bike rides and time spent with family and friends.

Alison is one of our rockstar nurses! She has always loved animals and has always dreamed of working with them. In 2018 she decided it was finally time to fulfill that dream and it has been the best decision she has made! She has just returned to work after having her son and she is so excited to be a part of the VATC family. Alison is passionate about arthritis care and ensuring our seniors are comfortable. She have 2 kelpies, Dylan and Archer and a cockatiel called Flips. She can’t wait to meet you and your furry companions.

Claire is a highly skilled and dedicated veterinary nurse with over 8 years of hands-on experience in the field. Throughout her career, she has become known for her compassionate care and understanding of animal health. Claire's friendly demeanour makes her a favourite among clients and their pets, while her professional approach ensures that every animal receives the best possible care. In her spare time, Claire is busy juggling life with her energetic 1 year old daughter, Elodie, who has recently discovered the joy of sharing her food with Beau, the family beagle. Despite the occasional mess, Claire enjoys watching the bond between her daughter and Beau grow. Claire finds joy in both the small, everyday moments and the excitement of creating new memories with her little family.

Hi, I’m Lori, a veterinary nurse with a lifelong passion for animals and their welfare. I have spent more than 15 years involved in animal rehabilitation and rescue, with a particular passion for horses, as well as experience caring for wildlife. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the individual needs of animals and the importance of treating every patient with patience, compassion and understanding. One of my favourite parts of veterinary nursing is getting to know my patients and their families. I particularly love in-home visits, where I can meet pets in their own environment and build a relationship with both them and their people, and of course bring snackies for my furry friends. I believe that providing veterinary care is about treating the whole family, not just the patient. Outside of work, I’m kept busy with my own animal family — two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Border Collie x Maremma, along with two cats, a Domestic Shorthair and a Devon Rex. Needless to say, animals are a pretty big part of my life! When I’m not working, I love being outdoors and spending time with my two boys who keep me on my toes. You’ll usually find me camping, kayaking, exploring nature or simply enjoying time with my family. I feel incredibly lucky to have a career that combines my love of animals with my passion for helping them live happy, healthy lives. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets and being part of their care.

Alicia is one of the newest nurses to join the VATC team, bringing with her more than 13 years of nursing experience across critical and emergency care. With a strong passion for animal welfare and a genuine love for animals Alicia is excited to combine her nursing experience with her dedication to care for our furry patients. Outside of work, Alicia's home is kept very busy by her much-loved four-legged family. She has two senior dogs, Gordon, a Silky x Maltese, and Lottie, a Cocker Spaniel; two junior dogs, Gemma, a Bichon x Poodle, and Adele, a Cavoodle; her senior cat, Marsheena. With a house full of fur, personality and plenty of cuddles, animals have been a huge part of Alicia's life. With both professional experience and plenty of hands-on experience caring for her own pets, Alicia is passionate about providing compassionate, attentive care to every animal she meets
